What is a CCN Campus Leader?
|
| |
CCN spreads to different campuses by raising up willing and trained Campus Leaders to help guide the Christian body in biblical soul winning through weekly Bible fellowships and outreaches. A CCN Campus Leader is also responsible for providing fundamental teachings in the Bible to CCN members, so that every believer may be "like a tree planted by the rivers of water" (Psalm 1:3), rooted and grounded in the Word of God.
Campus Leaders are soundly saved Christians, who have a burden for the lost, great compassion and love, and want to see Christian college students become on fire for Jesus and biblical evangelism. CCN Campus Leaders are trained in biblical evangelism, have a full understanding of the difference between the "lukewarm" gospel message and the biblical gospel message, witness regularly, and proactively encourage other Christians to do the same.
CCN Campus Leaders are not satisfied with just "sowing and going", but are willing to make an investment with their time to ensure that souls won to the Lord receive discipleship, and are rooted and grounded in a church home. Campus Leaders also understand the importance of helping those in physical need as well, and are willing to help assist those ministries that help the needy, while also proclaiming the biblical gospel. Learn more about how CCN endeavors to help those in need through our partnerships page.
A Campus Leader may or may not be a student on the campus, but has a heart dedicated to evangelizing and equipping the Body of Christ on their respective campus.
|
|
CCN Campus Leaders prove their commitment to Christ and to fulfilling the Great Commission and studying the Word of God regularly (Jos. 1:8, Psalm 1:2) so that they may give an answer for the hope which lies within them (1 Peter 3:15). They go out of their way to share the gospel with others (Mark 16:15), because they understand the urgency of souls needing to come to Christ for salvation (Mark 16:16). They make it a priority to encourage and educate Christians on how to use God's moral law effectively in evangelism, and how to explain grace to the humble-hearted.
They also understand the importance of discipleship and have a heart for both the saved and unsaved on campus, desiring both to know Christ in an intimate way, and assisting Christians in drawing closer to God through Bible study and personal accountability.
