What is CHANGE Collegian Network?

CHANGE Collegian Network ( CCN ) is an interdenominational, non-profit 501(c)3 Christian ministry created to provoke college students to passionately pursue a close walk with Jesus Christ, joyfully fulfill God's will for their lives, and compassionately preach the biblical gospel to everyone in their sphere of influence and beyond. We accomplish this through weekly on-campus Bible and worship fellowships, as well as through evangelistic outreaches.

The goal is to see students soundly saved, receiving discipleship, active in campus ministries, and rooted in local churches.

CCN also works to assist other ministries, which focus on meeting the needs of individuals outside of the campus, such as ministries to the world-wide persecuted church and those who are in physical and spiritual need.

In order to help strengthen the local church, CCN also performs free evangelism training seminars to ministries, which incorporates both classroom-style and hands-on training.

We are currently located on multiple college campus locations, with head quarters located in South Orange, New Jersey.

We welcome you to print a brochure on our ministry.

CCN provides students with:

  • Weekly Bible fellowships, led by an approved Campus Leader, who teaches students in the Word of God, and how to share and defend their faith in a group setting or alone
  • Evangelistic outreaches, where students put into practice what they learn, and spread the gospel on campus creatively in a group setting.
  • A strong foundation in the fundamentals of Christianity, so that students may grow in their relationship with the Lord, as well as be able to counter the growing amount of cult groups on college campuses
  • Fellowship and encouragement from like-minded brethren, who share the desire to glorify God through proactive soul winning
  • Opportunities to help assist ministries that are designed to help individuals in need around the world, while spreading the gospel on campus

CCN also assists in building the local church by providing them with:

  • New converts, who are in need of a church home and discipleship
  • An Evangelism Crash Course to help strengthen the local church to evangelize their local area and local campuses

CCN's goal is to root and ground students in the Bible, as well as equip the students with the tools they need to effectively share the gospel with atheists, agnostics, and individuals of various religious backgrounds, and lead them to Christ.

These new converts are encouraged to receive discipleship through a personal one-to-one CCN  Bible Study, assisted in becoming a member of a local church, and encouraged to become an active soul winner and witness for Christ through CCN Training Fellowships.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21).
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose in dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).
  • We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (I John 4:16-17).
  • We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-16).
  • We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
  • We believe it is the mandate of the whole Church to go into the whole world and to preach the Gospel to every living creature. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20)

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." (Prov. 11:30)

Our History:

CCN began in 2004 as a biblical evangelism class held at Lighthouse of Praise, pastored by Pastor Sean LaCon. The evangelism training, then called "Be-Class" (Biblical Evangelism Class), drew members from different congregations, and quickly became an on-going training, repeated at different locations. Led by Tiffany Gelpi, Founder/President of CCN, the training fellowship encouraged Christians to proactively spread the gospel biblically, effectively, and boldly, as well as give an answer for the faith.

Members of the training fellowship practiced what they learned through "hands-on" training, hitting the streets and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Soon, the Lord directed the ministry to the college campus, and by 2005, two CCN campus groups were established.

By 2006, college students had grown from quiet Christians to soul winners. Many CCN students even began open air preaching at various venues in New Jersey and New York City. In the Bible fellowships, students began growing closer to the Lord through His Word.

In 2006, two additional CCN fellowships began, and CCN Radio, an online radio show training students in evangelism and featuring Christian music, began recording. The podcast aired in early 2007.

CCN continues to grow by the grace of God. To join CCN in spreading the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, please visit our Get CCN On Your Campus page.

Tiffany is an on-air "phone fisher" on The Way of the Master Radio with hosts Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, and Todd Friel.

Jonathan Barba (pictured at right), offers an array of talents as he assists in the creation of materials and services to help support Campus Leaders. As a former Campus Leader at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Jonathan now functions as a CCN Mentor and traveling Campus Leader, assisting in the start-up of Training Fellowships. Experienced in planning and leading teams in evangelistic outreaches, Jonathan also provides biblical evangelism training for local churches in English and Spanish.

What is the vision of CCN?

Imagine:

  • Imagine : on every college campus, everywhere , a fellowship of Christian students, who are rooted and grounded in the Word of God, and trained up in biblical evangelism, able and dedicated to defending and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ on their campus, and filled with compassion for souls.
  • Imagine : a professor teaches his class that the Bible is a myth, but a student is able to boldly take a stand for the faith, and is able to reasonably refute the professor's claim, opening up a door to truth in the classroom once again, shutting the door on the propagating of lies.
  • Imagine : a criminal justice major, who once dreamed of working for the ACLU, which advocates for anti-Christian laws and behavior, is won to Christ in his freshman year, and becomes an instrumental person in the shaping of America's future for God's glory.
  • Imagine : a professor, who once taught evolution disproved the Bible, is won to the Lord by a faithful Christian student, who cared enough to stay after class time and time again, explaining the gospel biblically, effectively, and boldly.
  • Imagine : Christians, no longer taking a back seat and allowing the enemy to make the college campus a "haven for secular thought," but a place where truth can abound, because it is no longer suppressed and hidden in the hearts of quiet Christians.
  • Imagine : revivals occurring on campus after campus, creating a domino effect across the world.

It can happen. If you are willing to make the CHANGE .
